Obituary of Carole A. Farry

Troy – Carole Farry, 81, formerly of Clifton Park and Schenectady, passed away Sunday June 13, 2021. Carole was born in Schenectady the daughter of the late Rose and Chester Lence and was a lifelong area resident. She attended local schools and earned her college degree from the Mildred Elley Business School. Carole worked for General Electric as a secretary for many years with the R & D Department, retiring to care for her mother. In her leisure time she enjoyed long walks and bowling. Carole is survived by her children: Kimberly ( Jerry )Wilson, Patrick (Jeannie) Farry and Kristen Farry, granddaughter Dr. Katie (Matt) Farry Leggerio, brother-in-law Thomas (Norma Jean) Farry, nieces Lori (John) Robinson, Patti (Robert) Tietz, nephews Michael Farry, Robert O'Connor, Paul (Tammy) Lence and Stanley (Julie) Lence and brother-in-law James O'Connor. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brother Chester Lence, sisters-in-law Irene Lence and Joan O'Connor. Calling hours will be Sunday 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 806 Union St., Schenectady. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial Contributions may be made to The Eddy Heritage House in Troy, St. John the Evangelist Church or the Senior Center in Clifton Park.
