Obituary of Vita Dunn

Vita A. Dunn, 78, of Spring Road, died Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Ellis Hospital after a short illness. Vita was born and educated in Utica and moved to the Schenectady area many years ago. For many years she was a private duty nurse and was a former member of the Mariaville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Paul Dunn, in 2003 and a son, Tommy Dunn. She is survived by three children, Bonnie (Chuck) Diamond, Linda Gore and Frankie Dunn; siblings, Ann Lottermoser, Butch Leone and Renee Damiano; eight granchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral service Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday evening 6 to 7 at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady.
