Brian C. Keenan, 51, died Monday, October 4, 2021, at Ellis Hospital. Brian was born in Schenectady, the son of Donald and Mary Keenan. He was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and Spencer Business School studying Travel and Tourism. He had worked at Silver Haven Nursing Home .For over the past 20 years he worked for Lab Corp.. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends, a dedicated Cowboy's fan. Brian loved animals, especially his cat Minnie and had been a lifelong communicant of St. Luke's Church. He was predeceased by his father Donald Keenan and his brother Kevin Keenan. Survivors include his mother Mary Keenan and two sisters Jackie (Andy) Sharp and Brenda (Peter) Adams, niece Kelly Sharp and two nephews Greg and Corey Sharp and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service Monday morning 8:30 from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc 242 McClellan St. Schenectady and 9:00 at St. Luke's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Calling hours Sunday 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Church 1241 St. Schenectady, NY 12304 (for the Daily Bread Food Pantry) or the Ancient Order of the Hibernians 1748 State. St. Schenectady, NY 12304. It is requested that all attending to please wear a mask.
