Mary Theresa Dillon was Born in Schenectady to Irish immigrants , Tom and Mae Dillon in 1929. Mary attended St Columbus Catholic school , which instilled in her an extremely healthy respect for all nuns but especially the nuns who taught there , and could often be seen sporting her Catholic School Survivor sweatshirt , and Mildred Elly Secretarial school and used to love to belt out the schools cheer, “YAY M.E.S.S” . Upon graduation Mary started her career at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory . Mary left KAPL to marry her childhood sweetheart Tom Fyvie at Camp Chafee Arkansas shortly before he left for Korea. Mary raised 6 children and returned to work at NYS OTDA retiring in 1996. Mary was a lifelong communicant of St. Luke’s Catholic Church. Mary used to say there were two things she could not live without aside from her family... lipstick and peanut butter, with that said our wish for our mom on the other side is endless tubes of red lipstick and vats of peanut butter both smooth and crunchy . Nighty night bummy stew, we love you .
