I was so saddened to learn of Les' passing through a notice in the Brown Alumni Monthly. Les was a good friend and roommate during our college years. We shared many moments together as we traversed the disruptive times of the early '70s together. After university, we stayed in touch despite my travels overseas and some challenging times for Les.
It breaks my heart to know that he left us so early. My heartfelt sympathies to you all at his loss. May he truly rest in peace at last.
Should you have a charity that you favor, it would be my honor to contribute to it; otherwise, I shall simply do as you suggest and remember him in our own way.
