Obituary of Snyder Elaine

Elaine Snyder SchenectadyElaine Snyder 90, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Amsterdam she was a graduate of Wilbur Lynch High School in 1939. After being a homemaker, Elaine worked as a clerk for the GE Treasury Operations Dept. for a number of years then at Tempo Fashions. She then worked for CHP in Rotterdam until she retired. Elaine was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Snyder, who was her high school sweetheart and love of her life; three sisters, Maude, Leona and Dorothy; and a brother, Kenny. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Albee (Robert) of Schenectady; and a son, Gary Snyder (Carol) of Queensbury; four grandchildren, Dawn Main (Timothy), Tracy Sausville, Paul Sausville and John Sausville; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Nicky. Funeral service Friday morning 9 at the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. Calling hours, Thursday evening, 6 to 8. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
