Obituary of Gerald R. LaDuke

Gerald R. "Bubby" LaDuke, 7/19/1957 – 1/13/2022. He was pre-deceased by lifelong love, Linda D. "Bashaw" LaDuke. He is survived by stepchildren, Kimberly Cooper (Edward), Jeffery Bashaw (Kristel), Tammy Litts (Chris); sisters, Dorothy Lavarnway (David), Sandra Lanigra, Linda Cohn (Rallis); brothers, Richard H. LaDuke (Marylou), Ernest J. LaDuke (Sheryl), all from Schenectady. He was also pre-deceased by his father Francis H. LaDuke, mother, Delphine LaDule "Lombard"; stepfather, Emery Lombard, brother, Gary F. LaDuke; sister, Shirley M. LaDuke "Goodspeed", sister, Rita M. Jaquish and stepbrother, Joseph Devarne. He is survived by daughter, Erica Lynn Durante; grandchildren, Edward Cooper, Eric Cooper, Erin Cooper, Ryan Cooper, Ashley Bashaw, Christopher Bashaw (Deceased), Kelsey Bashaw, Jeffery Bashaw, Mackenzie Bashaw, Brittiany Ricci, Megan Messina and Desirae Bashaw.He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. "Bub" was a long time member of Schenectady Eagles 514, Schenectady Moose 251. He worked as a supervisor at Gene's Cleaning for 5 years and school bus driver for many years. Bub was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, 12:00 P.M. at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A calling hour will precede the service, from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery.
