Schenectady - Rebecca D. Mikropoulos, 50, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 20, 2022 in her residence.
Rebecca was born in Schenectady, NY on January 21, 1971 to the late Peter and Arlene Kelly. Rebecca was a graduate of Linton High School and worked many years for the State of New York.
Rebecca is survived by her Husband, Theodore Mikropoulos, their 3 children: Antonia C. Mikropoulos, Anastasia Goergen and Anastasios “Taso” Mikropoulos; Son in law Lee Goergen, and Grandchildren Angela “Kiki” Goergen, Heaven Goergen, Emma Goergen and Niko Mikropoulos.
Rebecca was a loving Mother and Grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening and reading. She was a beautiful soul with a heart of gold who was willing to help anyone in need. Rebecca is loved immensely and will be greatly missed by many.
Funeral service will be Friday 12:00 noon at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours will be Friday 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Park View Cemetery.
