Schenectady – Frank D. "Uncle Frankie" Rosko, 91, passed away peacefully Saturday February 26, 2022 at his home of many years. Frank was born, raised and educated in Scranton, PA, the son of the late Francis and Anna (Slovak) Rosko. As a young man he moved to Schenectady where he worked at the Carl Co. in the shoe department for many years. Later, Frank worked for General Electric as a machinist. He was a long time communicant of St. Joseph's Church and had been a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the St. Francis Benevolent Society. In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his siblings: Walter, Rose and Henry. He is survived by his many beloved nieces and nephews. A special thanks to all his care givers: Elizabeth Bellinger, Gloria Hart, David Rosko, John Nosal, Ann Marie Coons and Theresa Marx. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 4th, 9:30 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 600 State St., Schenectady. A calling hour will precede the Mass from 8:30am to 9:30am at the church. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph's Restoration Fund, 225 Lafayette St., Schenectady, NY 12305.
