Obituary of Sandra J. DiMeo

DiMeo, Sandra Schenectady – Sandra J. DiMeo, 78, passed away Wednesday March 30, 2022. Sandra was born in Schenectady the daughter of the late Roberta and Arthur Flynn and was a lifelong area resident. She was a long time communicant of St. Luke’s Catholic Church, a selfless caregiver and “Grandma” to many, many people. Sandra loved to dance, eat out, especially at Apian Way and couldn’t pass up a good estate sale. She was a woman who would give you the clothes off her back or the jewelry off her hands. Sandra will be missed greatly. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Angelo DiMeo and her sister Pat Verdiccio. Sandra is survived by her children: Anthony (Joy King) DiMeo, Linda (Ronnei) LeBlanc and Laurie(Anthony) DiMeo-Sefcovic, grandchildren: Gregory, Shaunna, Kaleigh, Dominique and Aliza, great-grandchildren: Ryan and Liviah, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:00 AM Monday April 4, 2022 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, State St., Schenectady. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours.
