Casimir "Caz" Sosinski, 82, of Scotia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11,2022 at Kingsway Rehabilitation Center in Schenectady after a brief illness. Caz was born in Zawady Dworsky, Poland on January 2, 1940 to the late Walter and Lottie Sosinski. He is predeceased by his beloved sister Irene Thomas. Caz came to the US in 1948 with his father and settled in Schenectady. He graduate from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1958 He proudly served our country in the US Air Force from 1959-1963 Soon after returning from service he went work for General Electric in the Insulation Department, building 64. Retiring after 25 years. Then went for Campbell Plastics. He loved to walk and ride his bike through Scotia and the bike path. Caz is survived by his daughters Tina (Stephan) Mesick and Theresa (Robert) Paturso, both of Rotterdam. His grandchildren Angel Mesick, Nicholas (Maria) Paturso, Athena (Carlos) Paturso, Natalia (Sam) Olszewski, all of Rotterdam and Anthony (Jess) Paturso of Connecticut and 3 great granddaughters. His brother Richard Sosinski; brother-in-law Anthony Thomas and many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to come to Daly Funeral Home Wednesday May 18 Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Service 11am. Entombment will follow at St. Adalbert's Cemetery in Rotterdam.
