He served in the US Army from 1952 to 1954 and worked in a number of local restaurants, including Mohawk Golf Club and Turf Tavern. Lenny also worked as a Sr. Aide and at the deli at Ten Eyck. He was a long time communicant of St. Joseph's Church and then St. Luke's Church. He loved doing oil paintings, self taught and would give them away to all he met. Baptist hung them for him throughout the halls on his floor. And he always had birds to keep him company throughout the years. He touched people's hearts and he will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his sister Stella Jameson and brother Jon Fitzsimmons and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Ann Moore and to all those at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehab Ctr. that gave Lenny wonderful care.
