Lucille Marie Machia of Cohoes, N.Y. passed away in her Schenectady home surrounded by
loved ones, on June 3, 2022, at the age of 58.
Lucille is predeceased by her mother, Irene Belanger, father Fredrick Butterfield and brother
Joseph Zappola.
Lucille is survived by her loving significant other of 21 years, George Ostrom.
Lucille is lovingly remembered by her sister Beverly McCutcheon and her three children,
Thornton J. Machia IV (Susan), Krystal Dingley (Dustin), Thomas Machia (Darcy); ten
grandchildren: Mikey, Chelsea, Darrell, Elizabeth, Aliyah, TJ, Izzabella, Jonathan Jr., Tanner,
Kolton and five great-grandchildren: Sophia, Emmalee, Octavia, Skylar and Serenity.
Lucille enjoyed camping fishing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She
also loved listening to music.
A visitation will be held at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan Street, Schenectady, NY 12304 on
Monday, June 6, 2022. From 5pm-7pm.
