Obituary of Denise Tucker

Schenectady – Denise Tucker, 78, passed away Saturday June 4, 20222. Denise was born in Quebec, Canada the daughter of the late Blanche and Leo Chenail. The family moved to Massena, NY when Denise was three years old and she was raised and educated there. After Denise graduated high school, she moved to Schenectady and has called this area home since. As a young woman she worked for NY State, then in middle age Denise owned and operated her own health food store in Rotterdam and most recently worked for Schenectady County where she retired from six years ago. Denise was fond of playing pinnacle with friends and loved her cats. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Real and Raymond. She is survived by Nancy Mack and her feline friends Jake, Tommy and Max. The funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Northville, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
