Obituary of Margaret Blattner

Green Island – Margaret E. Blattner, 60, died unexpectedly at her home after a short illness. Margaret was born on January 18, 1962 in Schenectady, NY. She worked for the State of New York for many years prior to exploring other employment. She enjoyed cooking, baking and reading. Margaret also enjoyed visiting amusement parks and museums with her niece and nephews while they were growing up. Margaret is survived by her mother, Rosemarie Blattner of Schenectady; sisters, Donna (John) Grunwald of Greenville and Barbara (Thomas) Chace of Cortland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. Margaret was predeceased by her fathe,r Otto Blattner and a nephew. The funeral service will be Friday 11:00 am at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, send donations to American Cancer Society.
