Schenectady - Nancy J. Latour, 82, of Schenectady, N.Y., died
peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, July 28, 2022.

She was born in Lake Placid, NY, the daughter of the late Paul and Frances
(Ryan) Strack.

Nancy attended Lake Placid Schools and was a graduate of the class of 1958
from Lake Placid High School.

Her most admirable quality was her faith in God. She lived Philippians 4:6,
which says – "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by
prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
Nancy prayed continuously throughout her life.

Nancy volunteered at Schenectady Little League and Schenectady Youth Hockey
for many years.

She was the devoted wife of Patrick Kennedy Latour. She is the mother of
Tuffield P. Latour and his wife Kathryn of Saranac Lake, Shawn P. Latour and
his wife Kim of Schenectady, Todd M. Latour and his wife Ashley of Charlotte,
North Carolina, Dr. James A. Latour and his wife Candice of Belleville, Illinois,
Patrick K. Latour Jr. and his wife Cynthia of Clovis, California, Troy R.
Latour of Schenectady, and Ryan E. Latour of Carmi, Illinois. She is the
beloved grandmother of Hannah (22), T.J (18), Shawn Jr. (17), Kim (27),
Franklin (26), Bella (17), Max (13), Jameson (23), Chloe (17), Isaac (16),
Layla (11), Mathias (6), Patrick K. III (18), Analise (13), Abriana (10), and
great-grandchildren Sophia (2) and Mychel (2) months.

Nancy was one of nine siblings born to Paul and Frances. She is survived by
siblings John, Jerry, Carol, Mary, Michael and Karen. James and Patsy
predeceased her.

Calling hours will be Monday August 8 from 4 - 7 pm at the Daly Funeral Home located on 242
McClellan St., Schenectady. The funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday August 9 at1 pm
at St. Luke's Church in Schenectady, with interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery,
Schenectady.
