Schenectady - Albina A. Farry, 92, formerly of Spruce St., died Friday, November 9, 2012, at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center. Albina was born and educated in Brockton, MA and moved to Schenectady in 1944. She had worked with the Schenectady County Department of Social Service as investigator for many years, retiring several years ago. She was a past president of St. Elizabeth's Auxiliary #93, a member of the drill team and bowling league, a member of the Ladies of the Charity, Christ Child, St. Clare's Auxiliary, St. Joseph's Church and Rosary Society and Notre Dame Bishop Gibbon's Mothers Club. She was married to Robert Bucky Farry, who died in 1992. Albina is survived by five children, Roberta Ann Bobbie Ann (Donald) Morgan of Pocasset, MA and Florida, Richard (Susan) Farry of Rotterdam, Timothy Farry of Schenectady, Rita Marie (John) Shields of Cumberland, ME and Patricia (Robert) Beckley of Missoula, MT; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Julia Miglin of Avon, MA and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service Wednesday morning 10:30 at St. Joseph's Church (Lafayette and State St.) where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Church Restoration Fund, 225 Lafayette St., Schenectady, NY 12305. Online condolences may be expressed at www.dalyfuneral home.com Members of St. Elizabeth's Auxiliary are requested to meet at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 6 for a prayer service.
