Schenectady – Delores J. Inzero, 84, formerly of Parkwood Blvd. and later Frantzke Ave. passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 2, 2022 after a bout of COVID and pneumonia.
Dee was born and educated in Schenectady, the daughter of Frank and Amelia Nowicki, and was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. For many years she was a stenographer and secretary at General Electric, Knolls Atomic Power Lab, and inthe Schenectady City Schools.
Dee was thrilled to have recently become a great-grandma. One of her favorite pastimes was playing pinochle and bridge, where she was a very skilled player and earned the rank of Silver Life Master. She particularly loved a good fresh Sacandagawalleye lunch.
Dee enjoyed meeting and knowing people from all walks of life and was a very caring person, taking the time to help other people in her life whenever she could and making sure they weren't treated unfairly.
She is survived by her two children, Rick (Sue) Inzero and Debbie (Mark) Roberts; a sister-in-lawJennie DeSorbo; great-grandson Alex Sigismondi, five granddaughters, Katlin Inzero, Jenny (Cam)Lattanzio, Sara (Alex) Sigismondi, Grace Roberts, and Sr. Katherine Roberts; sister-in-law Terri Nowicki, and 3 nieces- Dr. Michelle Bacares, Dr. Margaret Nowicki, and Prof. Elizabeth Nowicki, Esq. She was predeceased by her loving husband Richard (Dick) A. Inzero, her parents, and her brother James Nowicki.
A graveside service will be held Friday, September 16th, 11:00 A.M. at St. Anthony's Cemetery, 27 Glenridge Road, Glenville, NY (Interment will be for both Delores and her husband, Richard A. Inzero.)
