Obituary of Christina Hayostek

Niskayuna - Christina Haytostek, 93, died November 25, 2022 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, she was a lifeling area resident. Christina worked in Data Entry for the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory in Niskayuna for many years before retiring. She is predeceased by her husband, Frank Hayostek, who passed in 1998. Survivors include her son, Thomas Hayostek Esquire and his wife Carol Stewart MD., three grandchildren, Olivia Christina Hayostek MD, second year law student Thomas Francis Hayostek and Victoria Theresa Torres,RN., and great-grandson Antonio Torres. Christina is also survived by two sisters, Rita and Theresa of CT.; also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, 1pm, at Sts. Cyril & Method Cemetery, Rotterdam. Arrangements by Daly Funeral home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady, NY.
