Obituary of Brian Muir

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Brian K. Muir, born on August 5th, 1964 in Saratoga, who passed away on January 30th, 2023, in Schenectady. Brian was the beloved son of Robert and Patricia Muir and the loving father to his late daughter Tiffany Marie Muir. He was also preceded in death by his sister Andrea Lee Callahan. Brian was a graduate of Linton High School in Schenectady and worked for Central Brown and Electric City Taxi. In his free time, he loved spending time with his granddaughter Faith Marie Muir, who was the light of his life. He had a zest for life and just enjoyed seeing what each day brought. He is survived by his granddaughter Faith Marie Muir, sisters Laurie Bosco and Nancy (Al) Deere, brothers Robert (Crystal) Muir, Scott (Renee) Muir and Jonathan (Diane) Muir along with multiple nieces and nephews and cousins. A memorial will be held at Daly Funeral Home Inc on McClellan Street in Schenectady on February 10th at 6pm to 8pm to celebrate Brian's life. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity to honor Brian's memory. Brian will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched during his lifetime; may he rest peacefully in eternal blissful peace.
