Belden, Gayle Glenville - Gayle C. Belden, 85, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Gayle was born in Troy the daughter of the late Margaret and Gaylord Belden and was a lifelong capital district resident. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Gayle was known by many for her words of encouragement and positive approach to life. Gayle enjoyed many things including cooking, playing the piano, singing and sharing time with her family and friends. Gayle was self-employed staring with Superior Concepts, which she ran for more than 20 years, before she went on to being a care taker of home-bound and Alzheimer's patients, a job which she found very fulfilling. Gayle was known by many for her deep appreciation and love for God and his creations. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 55 years, it brought her much happiness to share her faith in our Creator, Jehovah God, and his wonderful purpose for the earth, and her hope for the future with others. Above all, Gayle was an exceptional mother who showed her children everyday what love, kindness, gratitude and grace really meant. Her patience and love knew no bounds. To her grandchildren she is absolutely irreplaceable. From being the Queen of Tea Parties, a rollerblading expert, an epic bubble bath creator, all the way to a giver of sound advice and guidance- the impact Gayle has left will most certainly live on in all of us. She is survived by her daughters Pamela (Timothy) Kenyon and Stephanie (Paul) Barrett, son Randy Colaruotolo, grandchildren: Nathan (Lisa) Kenyon, Briana Kenyon, Jordan Colaruotolo, Lisa (Chris)Ashton and Kyle Colaruotolo, 6 great-grandchildren, sister Shirley V. Belden and several nieces and nephews and all of her beloved friends. Gayle was predeceased by her daughter Kristine Yeomans. A funeral service will be held on April 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 1720 Albany St, Schenectady, NY 12304.
