Obituary of Judith J. Linnehan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judith "Judie" Linnehan of Schenectady. Judie passed away suddenly in her home on Monday, June 12th. Judie graduated from Norte Dame High School in 1981. Early on in her career, Judie spent several years working at MVP health care. She then studied nursing at Schenectady County Community College. Following this, she worked as a CNA at The Avenue Nursing Home and with various other traveling nursing agencies. Judie is predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth "Betty" Linnehan, as well as her brother James "Jimmy" Linnehan. She is survived by her partner, Robert Walton, two children, Alex and Julianna (Zyra), as well as her brothers Jeffrey and Jackie Linnehan. Judie was full of life; a kind soul who saw the best in those around her. She loved animals and spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. Calling hours will be held Monday June 19th at Daly Funeral Home in Schenectady, from 10 AM to 12 PM followed by a short service and burial at St. Cyril's cemetery in Rotterdam. Donations can be made in her honor to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
