Watervliet - John H. Darrel, 61, formerly of Niskayuna, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
After a short stint in the Navy, he worked as a handyman and HVAC technician in numerous settings. He was a diehard Jets fan in addition to his passion for landscaping, Seinfeld and frogs. John had a restless soul that more recently seemed to be at peace.
He is predeceased by his parents, Anne and Bernard Darrel and is survived by his sister, Beth (Eric) Linendoll and his beloved nephew, Jacob Linendoll of Ballston Lake.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 8th at 3:30 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Schenectady.
