Schenectady – Maria was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Although she came from a rough childhood,

she was very tenacious and grew up to be a strong-willed woman, who was dedicated to her family.

Maria was fierce, independent, selfless and straight forward. Her favorite past times were family game night, crossword puzzles, horse betting and dancing Salsa.

It pains us to lose the matriarch of our family. She is survived by four children; Osvaldo, Nilma, Thomas and Mariluz; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Maria will be truly missed, never forgotten and forever in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, 12:00 p.m. at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Park View Cemetery.
