Richard "Rick" Anthony Pelletier On the evening of September 17, 2023, Rick passed away at Wythe County Community Hospital in Virginia after a brief illness. Rick Pelletier was born February 29, 1952, in Schenectady, NY, He was the third child of Raymond and Regina Pelletier. Rick retired from General Electric after 43 years as a proud millwright. Rick's greatest joys were playing the harmonica and watching NASCAR. Rick loved to garden, play pool, bowl and was a great handyman. Rick was preceded in death by his father Raymond and his granddaughter Brianna Nickole. Rick is survived by his mother Regina, sister Terry, brother Paul and his best friend and wife of 48 years, Naomi. He is also survived by his children Christine Pelletier and Phillip Pelletier (Karen). Rick cherished his grandchildren Michael Dardiz (Carolina), Christopher Dardiz, Phillip Pelletier Jr., and Sadie Pelletier as well as his nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at the Daly Funeral Home Thursday, October 19th from 4 to 7 p.m. and a graveside service will be held Friday, October 20th at 11 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetary in Colonie. In lieu of flowers the family asks to make a donation in Rick's name to The American Lung Association, The American Heart Association, or the Schenectady Firefighters Cancer Foundation.
