Obituary of Robert M. Thompson

Robert "Bob" M. Thompson, 72, of Schenectady, NY, passed away on September 25, 2023. He was born on August 11, 1951, in Schenectady, NY. Bob was a beloved son, brother, father and friend. Bob, known for his storytelling abilities, was a great storyteller who captivated those around him with his tales. He had a love for living in Arizona and Florida during his younger years. Bob is survived by his sister, Barbara Thompson (Deb Butler); his son, Michael Thompson; his ex-wife, Diane Pollock; and his sister-in-law, Janice Thompson and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving and Carmel Thompson, and his brother, Richard Thompson. Bob attended Linton High School, where he received his education. Services for Bob will be private. The Daly Funeral Home in Schenectady, NY, is assisting the family during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the APF (Animal Protective Foundation) in Bob's memory. May Bob rest in peace, leaving behind cherished memories in the hearts of his loved ones.
