Obituary of Gary Alan Hildreth

Schenectady - Gary A. Hildreth, 74, passed away Monday December 4, 2023.
Gary was born April 16, 1949, in Schenectady, the son of Charles Hildreth and the late Lottie Reed and was a lifelong area resident. He proudly served in the US Army from 1969 to 1971 as a marksman. Gary had several jobs over the years, most recently he had been a bus driver for CDTA.
He is survived by his children: Amy, Danny, Patrick, Michael and Brian, grandchildren: Jasmine, Austin, Nate, Quintin, Elisa, Rebecca and Seth, two great-grandchildren, Odin and Soren, brothers: Jon, Jim, Hal, Jeff , Guy, Amelia and several nieces and nephews and his father.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, 1:00 pm at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. A calling hour will precede the service from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
