Constance Joy Wolff, passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 96 in Schenectady, New York. She was born on March 10, 1927, in Colonie, NY. Joy was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend.

Joy was known for her infectious happiness and beautiful smile. She had a warm and gentle personality, often surprising others with her clever sense of humor. Joy had a deep love for animals, and her dogs Cherie, Archie, Nina, and Skippy, as well as her cat Buster, held a special place in her heart.Joy is survived by her daughter Kitty Potter, son Jonathan (Maria) Wolff, granddaughter Alexandra Potter, grandson Kelsey Potter, granddaughter Morgan Wolff, and grandson Jonathan Wolff Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W Wolff.

Joy attended Albany High School and furthered her education at Albany Business College. She had a successful career working for NYS after college, serving as a secretary to the principal at Niskayuna High School, as a teacher aide at Rosendale Elementary School and a secretary to the guidance counselor at Galway High School.

Joy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she found solace and strength in her faith.

In her free time, Joy enjoyed traveling, spending summers at Camp at Sacandaga Lake, taking rides in the Adirondacks and through New England, playing cards, reading, and knitting. Her favorite times were spent with her family. Joy had the most beautiful smile and a zest for life that all could see the moment they met her.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 11 am at the Daly Funeral Home located at 242 McClellan St., Schenectady.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests charitable donations be made to the ANIMAL PROTECTIVE FOUNDATION at 53 Maple Avenue, Glenville, NY 12302.The Daly Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
