GLENVILLE- Frank Francolino, 77, of Van Buren Road, passed away Sunday evening, December 20, 2009 at the Ellis Skilled Nursing Facility. Frank was born in Schenectady on July 21, 1932, the son of the late Anton and Anna DeMarco Francolino. He was educated in Schenectady and was a graduate of the former Mont Pleasant High School. Frank faithfully served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. For 37 years he was employed by General Electric in various departments. Frank was a member of the Quarter Century Club and a devout communicant of St. Anthony's Church in Schenectady. Survivors include his cherished sister, Teresa Francolino of Glenville; loving cousins, Susan Mogavero of Schenectady, Elena Fehervari and her husband Steven of Guilderland, George Mogavero of Newburgh, Lauren and Lexi Fehervari of Guilderland, and many good friends. Funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 8:15 AM from the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan Street, then to St. Anthony's Church, Seward Place, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 AM. Interment will follow in the Francolino family plot at St. Anthony's Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited and may the join the family for calling hours Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
