Richard C. Hogan, Sr. Obituary

Richard Charles Hogan Sr. League City, TX - Richard Charles Hogan Sr., 83, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 13, 2024 in League City, Texas.

Born and raised in Schenectady, he retired from the Schenectady County Highway Dept.

Richard served in the United States Navy on the USS Holder from 1958-1961.

April 1st was his favorite day as it was opening day of trout season and he loved to fish.

He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Betty Hogan.

Richard is survived by his five children, Denise (Robert), Richard Jr. (Laurie), Donna (Vince), Darlene and Tommy. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, brother, William and his cockatiel, Peedee.

A Graveside Service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Parkview Cemetery, Schenectady.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local animal shelter or American Legion.
