Lois Ruth Price, 93, passed away on Saturday at the Masonic Care Community in Utica, NY. Born in Herkimer on July 28, 1930, she had been a resident of the Schenectady area. During her professional career, Lois worked for 40 + years at Ellis Hospital. initially as a dietician and then returned as an administrative assistant and receptionist for the Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic. Lois graduated from SUNY Canton with a degree in Dietary Science.

Lois was an avid gardener. She loved being in her garden where she grew amazing vegetables and beautiful flowers. Lois was a founding member of The Regent Street Community Garden and a member of The Niskayuna Garden Club.

Predeceased by her husband Frank, Lois is survived by her children; Robert (Debbie) Price, Georgia (Greg) Frevele, Linda (Bert) Klei and Douglas (Sherri) Price, along with 9 grandchildren, Erica, Dan (Lexie), Megan (Rich Van Every), Zachary, Evan, Jacob, Matthew, Hanna, Kevin and 4 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements entrusted to Daly Funeral Home. Friends and family are welcome to a graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Niskayuna Reformed Cemetery located at 3041 Troy Schenectady Rd., Schenectady, NY.
