Obituary of Anthony Leto

Watervliet - Anthony Michael Leto, born on August 30, 1964, in Albany, NY, passed away suddenly on May 26, 2024, in Watervliet, NY. He was the beloved son of Kathleen Huston and Arnold Leto. Anthony was a graduate of Linton High school, class of 1982 and also received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Siena in 1989. He worked as a paver, and salesman for his family’s paving business for many years. He was a man of many interests and hobbies, including a love for The Grateful Dead, reading, movies, and researching. His intelligence, humor, charm, charisma, love, and respectability endeared him to all who knew him. Anthony is survived by his life partner, Louella McCarthy, his daughter Justine Leto, son Anthony Leto, his mother Kathleen Huston, sister Diane Leto-Cioccke, brothers Steven Leto and Michael J. Leto. As well as his step-mother Victoria Leto , step- father John Huston, sister-in-law Jacqueline Leto, and his grandchildren Santino Luca and Lorenzo Gabriel. He is also survived by his son-in-law Anthony Pigliavento and his beloved grand pup of 10 years, Daisy Lynn Leto. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Leto, sister Kathleen Leto, brother Arnold Leto Jr., and brother Michael A. Leto. A man who touched the lives of many, Anthony will be remembered for his kind heart and infectious laughter. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. A funeral service will be held Monday, June 3rd ,6pm at Daly Funeral Home Inc, 242 McClellan Street, Schenectady, calling hours will precede the service from 3-6 pm on June 3, 2024, 3-6pm.
