Obituary of Betty Ann Bandosik

Please share a memory of Betty Ann to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Betty Ann (BA) Bandosik, 75, passed away Friday at home, after a long and courageous battle with multiple health issues. She is now at peace and pain free for eternity. A lifelong Schenectady/Rotterdam resident, Betty Ann was a career Secretary for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. Post retirement, Betty Ann enjoyed time in her garden where she planted and cared for many varieties of flowers and vegetables. She also was a music enthusiast and although Elvis’s number one fan, she also found time to listen to some 80’s hair bands, heavy metal and had followed the legendary local band “Triffid”. BA also shared with her Daughter a passion for Native American culture and enjoyed learning about the Mohawk Indians and visiting area Indian culture centers. Betty Ann is survived by her Daughter, Stephanie Bandosik of Schenectady, Sisters, Karen Lise (Joseph) Admire and Janie Lynn Grob, all of Rotterdam, Nephews, Stephen Grob of Rotterdam, Kyle Admire (Danielle Martin) of Chesapeake, VA and Bryan Admire of Rotterdam. She also leaves behind Simon, her long-time feline companion. She was predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Helen Bandosik of Schenectady and her forever Soulmate, Matthew Zebrowski, Jr. Calling hours are Wednesday, July 10th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Daly Funeral Home and a service at Daly's at 12 noon followed by interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Rotterdam. While a skilled gardener and aficionado of all things floral, Betty Ann would prefer a donation in lieu of flowers, to her favorite Cat rescue organization. Please make any offerings to Kitten Angels, 233 Houseman St., Mayfield, NY 12117. "Her Wings were ready, but our hearts are not"
