I was a student of Professor Friedman's in the MLT program at HVCC during 1996-1997. She was an excellent teacher, probably one of the best I ever had. I have often thought of her and my time in the MLT program. What I learned there helped start my career, then as a Microbiology medical technician at Ellis. I currently work at the CDC in Atlanta. I first heard of the CDC in one of Professor Friedman's courses. She might have been interested to know that one of her students ended up here - I am sorry that I did not have the chance to tell her. Time has gone by quickly, and athough years have passed, I wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. I remember her as such a passionate teacher, it's hard to imagine her no longer there.
