I first met Lois at the Arsenal when she was in charge of the computer room. I was in my 20s-just learning and she took me under her wing as a mentor and as a “Mom”. She was the best cook-so many fun times preparing payroll in between German potato salad and franks. I introduced her to some local places like the South End Tavern and somehow we still managed to get the work done. We were a close knit group-went to her home and enjoyed time in her pool, she and George, Freddie & Bob , Linda & Bob, Ann & Rose all came to our wedding. For awhile we lost touch but we reconnected after George passed. Lois and I spent a lot of time together at Saratoga Casino-she loved feeding the slots! We went to Vermont-watched movies in room at 3 am-laughed and enjoyed our time together. She was a force, a friend, the most generous person I have ever known and someone I loved. She was blessed to have family who cared for her and kept her safe in her home until the end. I am forever grateful for that. Godspeed Lois-thank you for all the memories, your friendship and advice. You will always be in my heart.
