Schenectady - Elijah Holmes, 24, passed away suddenly Sunday September1. 2024.

Elijah was born in Poughkeepsie, NY the son of Dawn Mitchell and Lesley Holmes and Bill Elting and has lived in Schenectady for several years.

His family would like to remember Elijah as a loving father, son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend. He worked for the city of Schenectady as a laborer and loved being the handyman of his family. Elijah was the comedian of the family and it’s brightest light. He will be greatly missed.

The funeral service will be Saturday 12:00 noon at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Visitation will precede the service from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be in Park View Cemetery, Schenectady.
