Linda Lou Rolfe, of Colonie, beloved younger sister and aunt, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024 after suffering from Parkinson's disease and cancer. She is survived by her two sisters, Phyllis I. Christian and Lois M. Phillips, her sister-in-law, Claudia Rolfe and brother-in-law, Joseph Phillips, as well as a niece, Jennifer Schoen, nephew, J. Scott Lyon, and many grand nieces and nephews.

Linda was born in Niskayuna and lived in the Capital Region all her life. She graduated from Mont Pleasant High School and received an associate's degree from Sage College of Albany. After 37 years working as a secretary for New York State's Department of Health, she retired in 2005. During her long career, she was actively involved and held leadership positions with the Professional Secretaries International (PSI), International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), and Schenectady Business and Professional Women (BPW). She enjoyed traveling and visiting new places. She loved her many Teddy Bears and her pet Cocker Spaniel. Linda was liked by everyone she met with her positive outlook and fun sense of humor. She liked word searches, time spent with a good book, and pictures of her family.

Linda is now at peace with her brother, Keith Rolfe, and her parents, Ethel and Louis Rolfe.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 10 am to Noon at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan Street, Schenectady, NY 12304. A Service will be held after calling hours with her burial at Parkview Cemetery thereafter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
