Harriet D. Furlano, 87, formerly of Oregon Ave., died Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at the Ellis Center. Mrs. Furlano was born in Schenectady, the daughter of Martin and Julia Duchane and was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. She worked through the years with GE payroll, City of Schenectady Health Department, Barney Company and Mr. Discount Liquor and had been a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. Harriet was predeceased by her husband, Thomas F. Furlano, in 1987 and their son, Thomas F. Furlano Jr. She is survived by three children, Joseph (Lisa) Furlano of Colonie, Nicolette (David) Janeski of Ballston Lake, and Daniel (Marta) Furlano of Germany; a sister, Winnie Cimino of Rotterdam; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service Friday morning 8:30 from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady, and 9 at St. John the Evangelist Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours, Thursday evening, 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Interment, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
