Obituary of Lorraine Nicklaw

Lorraine Gloria Nicklaw of Schenectady passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the age of 82. Lorraine was born to the late Stanley and Mary DeVincenzo Bianco. She graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1960 where she made lifelong friendships and met the first love of her life and husband, Thomas Nicklaw, who passed in 1982. Lorraine is also predeceased by her sister, Joyce Halloran.
Lorraine prided herself on her career, working at Carl Company, Traveler's Insurance, and concluded at CDPHP. She celebrated life to the fullest and filled her time creating lasting and loving memories with family and friends.
She is survived by her loving partner of the last 30 years, Raymond Bonesteel; her two daughters, Corinne (John) Feldman and Tracy (James) Cyr; her grandchildren, Thomas (Catherine) Feldman, Erica (Robert) Caracciolo, Jessica (Brian) Murphy and Karlee (Cody) Center; her eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha (formerly St. Helen's) 1803 Union St., Niskayuna. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady.
