Gloria F. Conde, age 96, of Schenectady passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Born on October 23, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Dominick and Mary Conde. She was predeceased by her brother, Anthony Conde,sister-in-law Rose Conde and niece Nadine Kilcullen.

She is survived by her nephew Dominick Conde, his wife Theresa Ward, her nephew Mark Kilcullen, and their children Grace and Matthew Conde, and Alana and Emily Kilcullen.

Gloria graduated from Linton High School and obtained her degree in nursing from the College of St. Rose. Upon graduation, Gloria was a nurse in the operating room at Ellis Hospital. She subsequently worked for decades within the Schenectady School District where she as was a nurse and taught health classes. She greatly enjoyed and appreciated her relationships with her students and colleagues, and as did they, in return.

She loved her black labrador retrievers, mostly named Cindy, which were an ever-present part of her life. And she was especially connected to her extended family and wide group of friends. She could always be counted on when any of them were in need.

Gloria was a person of strong faith and was active member within her Catholic Church community. Given her faith, she undoubtedly has been joyously received by God. She will be missed by all.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Saturday, January 25, 2025 at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 2216 Rosa Rd., Niskayuna, NY 12309. Interment to follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville. There will be no calling hours.
