Vicki A. Garcia-Franklin, 44, of Grant Ave., died Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at Ellis Hospital, McClellan St. campus, after a long illness. Vicki was born and educated in Schenectady. She had worked for Meals on Wheels and the Trading Post. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and was very loved by her family and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Julio Garcia; three daughters, Ciara and Aileen Franklin and Julisa Garcia; a brother and sister, Lewis and Marleen Franklin; three grandchildren, Cameron and Raydell Franklin and Narayia Hart. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Park View Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday evening from 6 to 8 at the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady.
