On Wednesday, January 6, 2010, Maureen A. George, 64, of Strong St., passed away at Ellis Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Albany, Maureen was a lifelong area resident. She is survived by two sons, William Rue (Rose), and Charles George (Christina),and three daughters, Charlene Goodman-Sellick (Charles), Lori Skoda (Darrin) and Dawn McWilliams (Michael); also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many adopted children and companion, Raymond Gauverau. Maureen loved her dogs and cats. Funeral service, Saturday, 12 noon at the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. A calling hour will preceed the service. Interment will be private.
