Nicholas Georgelas was called to the Lord on February 2, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Helena (Damascos) Georgelas; his son, Art (Cathy) Georgelas; daughter, Melissa (Georgelas) Verrigni; brother, Art (Elaine) Georgelas; sister, Donny (Robert) Salls, and grandchildren, Ciara, Niko, Anthony, Nicole, Thomas, Nicholas, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Nick was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Bettina Georgelas and his brother, George. Nick's passions in life were his camp, boating, fishing, and hunting. He loved the simple pleasures of life. His family was always his number one priority. Nick was a successful self employed contractor all his life. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, 107 Clinton St. Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. A Trisagion Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. George's Greek Orthodox Church.
