Isoletta Stipani Giardinelli, 93, entered into eternal life following a short illness on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Ellis Hospital. Mrs. Giardinelli was born in Sambucetto Teatino, Province of Cheiti, Italy on August 23, 1917, the daughter of Micheli and Anna Stipani. She immigrated to the United States in 1952. Isoletta was the beloved wife of Reuccio Giardinelli; he died in 2004. She was a devoted mother, survived by three daughters, Irma Schwank of Rotterdam, Eva (Leonard) Mokhiber of Colonie, and Debra (Damian) Shea of Raleigh, NC; a sister, Rosalia (Remo) Capodicasa of Schenectady and brother, Melfino (Berinice) Stipani of Italy; loving grandmother of Daniel, David (Marina), Robert (Michelle), Alan (Debra), Jason (Laura), Brendan (Celeste) and Patrick; four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Aldo Giardinelli and brothers, Cesare and Anthony Stipani. Funeral service Wednesday morning, 9 a.m. from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady and 9:30 a.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated (1255 Pleasant St., Schenectady). Calling hours, Tuesday evening, 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Entombment, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
