Obituary of Lisa Golden

Schenectady - Lisa M. Golden, 42, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Born on May 4, 1970, the daughter of David and Joyce Gordon. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband, Robert J. Golden; two sons, Brandon 17, Christopher 9; sister, Melissa (Rex) Smith and in-laws, Paul and Roseann Ames. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. Lisa graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1988. She worked at Dunkin' Donuts for many years, was a certified nurses assistant and held several management positions in retail. Lisa was an avid NY Giants fan who enjoyed bowling, camping and swimming. She was always a caring person, willing to help family, friend or anyone in need. She was an esquire, Loyal Knight and held many other positions at the Clifton Park Elks Lodge #2466. The funeral will be Friday 1 p.m. at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours will precede the service on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery, Schenectady. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her sons' names in care of First National Bank of Scotia.
