Eileen M. Gordon, 58, of Guilderland Avenue, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2009, at her home with her beloved family at her side. Eileen was born February 8, 1951 in Schenectady, a daughter of the late Albert and Henrietta Weiss Bateholtz. A truly loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Eileen devoted her life to being a homemaker. She served the VFW's Auxiliary as president at both the #1895 location in Schenectady and #4695 in Hurst, TX. Survivors include her loving husband, William C. Gordon Sr.; three children, Dorothy Sheldon and her husband, Roger of Schenectady, William C. Gordon Jr. of Fort Worth, TX, and Jason R. Gordon and his wife, Christylyn of Arlington, TX; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Christine Wing and her husband, Roger of Cobleskill, and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be held Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service Monday at 10:15 a.m. at the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan Street. Interment will follow the service in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
