Schenectady- Dora M. Baccari passed away peacefully on Thursday January 28, 2010 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Born in St. Johnsville on January 18, 1919 the daughter of the late Joseph and Judith Locorini. She was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. She loved her work at Ellis Hospital's medical record department where she worked for 25 years retiring in 1982. Dora enjoyed her retirement traveling, entertaining and spending time with her family. Her pride and joy was her four grandchildren Lisa Tanis Durso (Joseph), Sean Tanis, Stephen Martin (Michelle), and Bradley Martin (Tyffani) In addition to her parents, Dora was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Baccari whom she married October 18, 1941 and her siblings Mary Bagnoli and Dominick Locorino. She is survived by her children Gail Martin (her special son- in- law William), her youngest daughter Jo-Ann Baccari , a sister Josephine Sommers, a brother Anthony Locorini, also many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service Monday morning 11 am at St. Anthony's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 at the funeral home 242 McClellan Street.
