Obituary of Maria Jablonski

Maria Jablonski, 90, passed away peacefully Saturday April 30, 2011. Maria was born in Watervliet, the daughter of the late Ned and RoseDeSorrento and was a lifelong area resident. She was a devoted homemaker to the late John A. Jablosnki, Sr. Over the past 30 years, her greatest passion was that of John, her son's bowling career. She was his biggest fan and traveled with him to many different bowling events. She was lovingly referred to as "Ma" by many of the other bowlers. Maria also had a special relationship with her son-in-law, Jack. She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Jack) Conroy and son, John Jablonski, Jr; siblings, Otto DeSorrento, Frances Gilcoyne and Ned DeSorrento. The funeral service will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
