Obituary of Dale James

Schenectady - Dale James, 72, went home to the Lord Sunday, July 22nd, 2012. Born in Schenectady, NY to Kenneth and Irene Dreany. She was educated at Linton High School and later went on to receive her diploma from Mildred Elley. She worked at Ruvin Insurance Agency, Rush Agency and Price Chopper. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was devoted to the church. Survivors include her two children, Colleen Pratico of Schenectady, NY and Scott Zielinski of Pittsfield, MA. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Cole Denning, Jason Pratico, Alex Pratico and Daniel Zielinski, and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas Pratico, and Sabriela Spencer. Funeral services, Thursday morn, 8:15 from the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St. and at 9 a.m. at the Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Parish (formerly Our Lady Of Fatima), where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours, Wednesday eve, 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Interment, Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna. Contributions in Dale's memory may be made to the Saint Jude Children's Fund.
