Dear Mrs. Baker and Family; Please accept my sincerest sympathy to you and your family upon hearing of the loss of Jerry. I am honored to have played football for Gloversville under Coach Baker and be a part of the 1962 undefeated Huskies. I believe the lessons we learned from Coach Baker , as George Thompson has said, moved us forward from being boys to men. The lessons of friendship, camaraderie, respect for one another and others and the love we have shared with one another for the past 50 years remain with us this very day. Thank you Coach Baker, You will always be with us in spirit and our memories and love for you will remain with us forever.
